But this devaluation of disabled life is how you get "triage" plans for a pandemic that are thinly veiled eugenics. This is how they decide that someone with intellectual disabilities is less worth saving – their existence is an insult in our society. It's super shitty.

Ah, the sweet sound of unexpected sudden discharge from mental health services with no warning, complete with copy paste of “groups to access” and “services to use” as if we’re not in the middle of a pandemic. Know for a fact several of the “suggestions” aren’t running at all.

So many pieces on how the world will be changed forever by this. So much detail in what experts can predict. So little mention of disabled people. Actually none. #CripTheVote

Please include the impact on those with disabilities and Accessibility (recently-acquired and others). Ex: my deaf sister reads lips — impossible if everyone wearing masks, I no longer have to drive my blind husband four hours to Johns Hopkins for 40 min appointment. #cripthevote

@CONADIS_MX https://t.co/sP41AllzTr

This. So much this. Many people's support has drastically changed or been stopped altogether. Myself included. Covid-19 is clearly a significant issue but It's important that mental health doesn't fall by the wayside. It's just as important & now more than ever we need to listen https://t.co/uiFvlb0U4R
